The Morning Glories were stunning on our west fence last year... I never pulled the dried vines down because Mark loved the look. It's that magic time of the year when we get to reinvigorate Morning Glory fence!
One week ago, I unleashed the drip watering system on the west fence. Then I spent an hour going through the dried vines, pulling the dried seed pods (which did just fine throughout the winter, I might add), and dropping the seeds in the moist soil. One week later, look what happened... the morning glories are germinating quite nicely.
Every where there was moisture, there are baby morning glory plants.
In fact, uh, it looks more like a morning glory lawn... I expect a plush wall of flowers this year, just sayin'.....
Poor soil, no food, amazing germination, and a wall of flowers all summer. What's not to like about Morning Glories?!?!?!?!??
So, last year I had three varieties growing (Heavenly Blue, a purple, and a pink). In addition to these, I added four more varieties. It's going to be a stunning west wall...
