This post is the victorious culmination of a year of searching for the PERFECT indoor sweet peppers and sweet cherry tomatoes, and I'm delighted to report that my research, experimentation, scientific study, and less-than-stellar care have resulted in DELICIOUS indoor peppers and tomatoes.
Last year, after eating some particularly sweet and delightful grocery store mini peppers, I decided to save seeds and try to grow them. The seeds germinated into robust little plants, and the peppers they produce are very sweet and very easy to grow. The pictures you'll see here are plants grown indoors under fluorescent lights.
I love mini sweet peppers. How much sunlight did this require??? and how long from when you planted the seed, did it germinate? Can this be done in the winter indoors?
ReplyDeleteAmazingly, these peppers were grown in a pretty dim room under fluorescent lights. The seeds germinate in less than a week, it was very fun to do.
